Just opposite our Greens Guesthouse is Bro PlanB cafe ... local Indian place with only 4 to 5 tables. Husband serve and wife chief chef. Local food is very good,actually.... we had 3 meals at this place.

so yummy, butter chicken , palak paneer, etc etc all good

and in CHENNAI, nearest to our Sameera Hotel is Bukari Restaurant.

The food is pretty good. Service is fantastic. We realised that it is not an ordinary local Indian eatery but actually a sort of "fine dining" for the locals.

from the outside

inside Bukari

and next day we were recommended this SARAVANA BAHWAN ( Tiffin style Menu ). Turned out to be very very good. A local buffet style  for only 220rp or 185 rp ( smaller tiffin).

highly recommended
